Nick Leddy, Professional Ice Hockey Player
“I have worked with Josh on a number of wellness activities for many years. Through Josh, I have learned an immense amount about how sauna, cold plunge, breath work, and dynamic stretching can benefit the body and mind.
I am a lifelong athlete, and I have been practicing Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu for over 25 years. These sports are hard on the body, and the work I have done with Josh has been very beneficial to my health, as well as my ability to continue these physically difficult activities. Furthermore, the opportunities for breath work, meditation, and journaling have provided a great deal of clarity and perspective across all facets of my life.
I would highly recommend working with Josh and LeddWell for any and all available offerings; you won’t regret it!”

Bob Cooley, Creator of Resistance Flexibility
“Working with Josh has been one of the most grounding and transformative wellness experiences I’ve had. Whether in a sauna session, a cold plunge, or a group event, Josh creates an environment where you feel supported, challenged, and deeply connected to your own growth. His approach blends several natural healing modalities and physical restoration—through resistance flexibility strength training (RFST) and ARPwave therapy.
What stands out most is his intentionality. Josh doesn’t just guide you through an activity; he helps you understand your body, your patterns, and the deeper layers of healing that emerge when you are immersed in nature and fully present. After each session, I walked away feeling lighter, stronger, and more aligned.
For anyone seeking meaningful change physically, mentally, or spiritually, I highly recommend working with Josh one-on-one, joining a group session, or attending one of his events. His work is incredibly impactful, and the benefits stay with you long after the session ends.”

“I’ve had the opportunity to experience both a 3-day retreat in nature and the inaugural Refresh day event with Josh, and what stands out most is how much intention goes into everything he creates. He has a real ability to organize complex experiences that are packed with substance and value, while also making them feel welcoming and personal. Josh is also exceptionally good at bringing the right talent together to guide experiences, as well as creating a community of people who genuinely support the mission and each another. You leave his events feeling like your time was well spent with new perspectives, meaningful connections, and practical things you can carry forward that support personal growth and sustainable wellness. This is the type of investment opportunity in yourself that you don’t want to pass up!”

“I’ve had the opportunity to know Josh for several years and to experience his work firsthand through a number of events and retreats at Tubac Ranch. He has hosted, co-hosted and created his own wellness programming here, and what has always stood out to me is the thoughtful and very personal perspective he brings to wellbeing.
Josh understands that wellness isn’t simply about a workout, a sauna or a cold plunge—it’s about creating the right environment and practices for people to slow down, reconnect with themselves and make meaningful changes. He brings together movement, recovery, nature and mindfulness in a way that feels genuine, approachable and grounded in real experience.
Whether working one-on-one or guiding a group, Josh has a natural ability to meet people where they are and create an experience that encourages both reflection and growth. I’m happy to recommend Josh and what he is building with LeddWell.”

"I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Josh Leddy during his Get Sweaty with Leddy research trip (with sauna). Josh has extensive, direct experience with healing and managing physical pain, and utilizing many different techniques. He is also an accumulation of the knowledge from his decades of pain management research. Personally, Josh is super easy to talk to and gain insights into reducing pain."

“Josh has a unique way of looking at pain, movement, and recovery because he’s lived it himself. Spending time with him has given me an entirely different perspective on how the body can move, recover, and continue doing the things we love.
My experiences with Josh have been incredible. Whether he’s working with me on pain and mobility, getting into the sauna, taking a cold plunge, or lacing up the Rollerblades and going for a skate together, everything connects. He doesn’t just focus on where something hurts—he looks at the whole person and helps discover the origin of pain utilizing different practices, people, and experiences to help you feel and move better.
At this stage of my life, I still want to be active. I want to Rollerblade. I want to move. I want to keep creating and doing the things I love. Josh understands that.
He’s taken everything he’s learned through his own journey with pain and turned it into something that can genuinely help other people. I’ve experienced it firsthand, and I’m excited to see what he’s building with LeddWell.”

“I never cared about health/wellness until I injured my back and was considering surgery. His book guided me through every facet of difficulty that comes along with intense nerve pain. I experienced the inability to drive, to think clearly, to sleep, etc. I couldn't even play with my kids. A sneeze or bump in the road floored me in unbearable pain. I went through this for 5 weeks while I read Josh's book.
Josh's story gives recommendations that you wouldn't even know to consider such as simply showing up to practice to support your team which helps keep your own spirits up in the midst of a negative head space during recovery.
Since reading his book, I've discovered so many ways to manage my pain. My specific case was best addressed by strength training and learning about muscle recovery. I started looking into health/wellness and consuming media in this space, and I find his YouTube show especially helpful since he's invited all different talents and healing modalities directly into the sauna with him. Also, I started seeing Dr. John Pietila, the neurologist recommended in his book who is also a chiropractor. I had a few sessions of ARPWave Therapy, and I started getting my life back immediately.
Within weeks I was skating (aggressive inline) again. I could pick my kids up again and play with them! Within months I was competing in regional competitions, and I was doing it pain-free! I had resolved my pinched nerve, and I felt like i was 25 again! I didn't even know this much progress was possible. Before this success, I was considering back surgery.
I am so grateful to Josh for what he has produced in the health/wellness ecosystem. I attended his Refresh Minneapolis event, and that was a great community to be a part of. His contributions are saving lives and helping people like me to thrive. And his communities are full of people similar stories.
Thanks Josh for all of the help!”

“I’ve been working with Josh for almost two years now. We first met at Bob Cooley’s studio in Santa Barbara and immediately clicked around our passions for hockey and healing. As soon as we spent some real time together I could tell that I was going to learn a lot from him, I just didn’t expect how deep that was going to go. Initially it was clear to me that through him I was going to learn about writing my own book and building my own brand. What I didn’t expect was the wealth of knowledge and support he would introduce me to through his extensive experiences and professional connections. Every time I see Josh there is always something new to learn and grow through whether that is a new modality he’s discovered, a new gadget to play with, or another healer who has a philosophical golden nugget to drop for me to help me forward on my path of my own individual healing and/or growth in the healing profession. Im very grateful to have met Josh and am looking forward to what the future holds with him.”

“I've had two injuries that could have ended my athletic career. An Achilles explosion in 2012 and a sever right knee injury in 2007 that tore my ACL, MCL and LCL. When you've lived a life of athletics, recovery isn't a phase you go through once — it's the thing you build the rest of your life around. Care for your body stops being optional.
Josh Leddy understands that at a level almost nobody does. And more than understanding it, he's proof of it. Josh is walking, living evidence that the work he does lets you live pain free — not just survive, but actually thrive.
Here's what I trust about him.
He knows his stuff. Health and wellness isn't Josh's job, it's his passion. He's constantly on the cutting edge of what actually works, and he's open minded enough to keep looking.
He tests it on himself. Josh has serious demands on his own body. That means every protocol he recommends has already had to prove it works on him first. There's no theory being sold here.
He thinks about the whole body. Josh is comprehensive. He doesn't treat the spot that hurts and send you home — he looks at how the whole system is working together.
He's the most positive person I know. That's not a small thing. Recovery is long and it tests you. Having someone in your corner who genuinely believes you're going to get there changes what's possible.
I've personally worked with Josh in every modality LeddWell offers — sauna, cold plunge, weights, nutrition, resistance flexibility, and ARP wave therapy — plus the part that doesn't fit on a services list: being surrounded by a great community. All of it together is what got me back to the sport I love.
I'm a world record–holding professional skydiver. I'm 41. My body has to work, at a high level, on demand. Josh has helped me hit my goals and hold onto that ability.
If you're looking to be pain free, to grow, to have a good time doing it, and to be connected to a great community while you do — work with Josh on your health and wellness. I can't recommend him more highly.”
